Class Description:
- Hatha Yoga – is the physical form of the whole Yoga practice which is focussing on the asanas (postures) and pranayama (breath control). The movement of the postures are often at a moderate pace and affects all the meridians in the body. Regular practice helps to increase flexibility and calms the mind
- Hatha Vinyasa – is a consecutive flow of asanas (postures) that links the breath with movement. The postures move at a faster pace affecting all the meridians especially the feet. It results in greater strength and improves cardiovascular fitness.
- Yoga & Weight Loss – is an all-around series of asanas is to tone up the lower extremities. The movements which are fast is to increase body’s metabolism while the movements which are slow stimulates direct access to the fats when energy is required. Regular practice relieves stress related symptoms and bring about greater awareness of the body and diet.
- Yoga & Neck/Back Pain with Trigger Point – is an all-round movement for the proper functioning of the spine including the neck. It is both a physical and an assisted workout, working with the person next to you. You will be guided on how you can release the tension in your body quickly.
- Yin Yang Yoga – is to bring balance between energetic Yang energy and relaxed Yin energy. The asanas are held for either long duration or short duration. Regular practice helps in the proper functioning of the body/mind with increased flexibility and strength.
- Yin Yoga – is to balance the excessive energetic Yang energy at the back of the body. The asanas are held for a long period of time to slow down the body and mind. Regular practice helps to increase the flexibility of joints, fascia, calms the mind.
- Yoga Stretch – is a relaxing session for the benefits of those who are tired from excessive workout to clear their lactic acid and for those who needs the flexibility besides a strong body
