Swords & Stationery is a specialist tuition / educational therapy programme dedicated to helping kids with specific learning differences (i.e. special needs). Our unique methodology directly incorporates games and technology into lessons. The curriculum, built off the Orton-Gillingham principles, is robust and comprehensively structured; at the same time, it is flexible enough to cater to the individual’s needs. We cover all English-based subjects, including Social Studies, Literature and History, for students of ages 7 to 17.
Our space at Jalan Pemimpin is also open to members of the public (including kids and their families) for tabletop gaming. We believe in growing a community that is warm, welcoming and inclusive, to new and seasoned gamers alike.
Finally, Swords & Stationery functions as a blog that discusses education, special needs (such as dyslexia and ADHD), and the use of tabletop and video games in a classroom setting. We also regularly put up learning resources for parents to use with their children.
