Curriculum
Apollo International Preschool adapts from International Preschool Curriculum (IPC)® , a curriculum that has been used by more than 120 renowned preschools around the world in various countries such as USA, Canada, UAE, Europe, Thailand and Singapore.
IPC’s popularity amongst preschools around the world is due to success rate of pre-schoolers achieving an all-rounded development at the end of their preschool years. IPC continuous upgrading of curriculum ensures up to date, high quality early childhood education for IPC students.
IPC is skilfully developed based on several well-known researchers and theorists on children’s development and learning such as Maria Montessori, John Piaget, Howard Gardner and Erik Erikson.
Teaching Methodologies
At Apollo International Preschool, we use 3 teaching methodologies to create an enjoyable learning experience for the children: Play-based and Inquiry Based Learning. Apollo teaching methodologies are derived from IPC curriculum based in USA and tweaked to Singapore’s educational context, ensuring the best of education practices from the best of both countries in early childhood teaching practices.
