Established in 2005, Dancepointe Academy; Singapore Premier Dance Academy, has been providing invaluable dance education for dancers as young as 3 years old, through to professional levels such as Teachers and Company Dancers. It started as a single brand Dancepointe, and later on in 2013, Dancepointe Academy was evolved as an umbrella to rebrand other dance genres into various faculties such as 5th Avenue School of Jazz & Street Dance, Dance Factory School of Kpop Dance and dACADEMY School of Contemporary Dance.
Under the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Commonwealth Society of Teachers’ Dancing (CSTD) syllabi, Dancepointe offers comprehensive Classical Ballet training through a progressive curriculum designed for children of 3 years old through to Professional levels such as Performer and Teaching Career. We also bring in other dance certifications such as the CSTD (Commonwealth), ATOD (Australia) & RSL (U.K) for our Jazz , Hip Hop and Contemporary courses, now under our other brand names 5th Avenue, Dance Factory and dACADEMY.
Dancepointe Academy has 15 state-of-the-art schools serving the Alexandra, Bishan, Bukit Panjang, Choa Chu Kang, Jurong, Pasir Ris, Punggol, Seng Kang, Sembawang, Buangkok, Seletar.Yio Chu Kang, Tampines & Yishun residents. Our original home is founded in the Taman Jurong Community Centre. Designed and conceptualised by our Founder & Artistic Director, Ms Lena Foo, all our studios are equipped with safe sprung floors and Harlequin dance mats to provide a safe learning environment.
