For international students it is important to be confident that the standards of the school are such that they compare with other similar international schools. At OWIS we undertake the International Schools’ Assessment (ISA), undertaken by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). These are external assessments that are not specific to a single curriculum but evaluate core skills, allowing schools to check the reliability of their internal assessments. From the data received from ACER and our own formative and summative testing we are confident that we are delivering a high quality curriculum in an optimum learning environment.
One World International School is part of the Global Schools Foundation (GSF), which is a Singapore based, not-for-profit foundation that presently educates students of over 56 nationalities.
The school is registered with the Committee for Private Education, SkillsFuture Singapore Agency (CPE) and meets the requirements in corporate governance, quality of provision, and information transparency.
An Academic Board and Examination Board as required by the Committee for Private Education, SkillsFuture Singapore Agency (CPE), oversees and ensures the quality of academic programme.
