The Social Service Institute was appointed by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) on 1 October 2013 to be a Continuing Education and Training (CET) centre for Community and Social Services.
The Institute is a social service learning hub that posits as a focal point for training, resource, practice and career services. The competency-based training programmes offered by the Institute ensure quality and enable adult learners to be competent at their workplaces.
