Our name stems from two Chinese characters “You 优” which means Excellence, and “Le乐” which means Joy. It signifies our motto: Excellence and Joy in building a strong foundation for Mandarin learning.
Through the various programmes, our goal of our programme is to nurture a strong confidence in Chinese reading and expression. Depending on age groups and learning objectives, we offer the following programme:
- Playgroup (1 – 3 years old)
- Readers & Writers (N1 – K2)
- Speech & Drama (3 – 6 years old)
- Chinese Oral & Creative Writing (P1 – P6)
- Primary School Literacy & Fluency (P1-P6)
Breaking the mould of traditional Chinese teaching, lessons are centred around story-telling through dramatisation, music and dance, role-playing and activities designed to achieve the learning objectives of the various programme
Our teachers are well-trained in our dialogic approach of teaching in a positive and encouraging environment.
The children’s learning journey continues beyond the lessons. We will provide weekly activities for the children and guide parents on how to help their children in reinforcing what was been learnt. Regular updates and class visits are also arrange to help parents play an active role in the kids’ learning journey.
